Sub Regions

Tourism South East working for you at a local level

TSE is the largest tourism organisation in England, outside London. It is responsible for supporting and fostering the interests of tourism in a region which covers some 19,000 square kilometres. To ensure an effective tourism structure, with meaningful local focus for the industry and an ability to deliver efficiently at a local level, a number of administrative sub regions have been established. Details of the structure and activities of the individual sub regions can be accessed below.

Additional resources for the sub-regions included appointing dedicated TSE staff based locally to drive forward the Tourism ExSEllence Statements of Priorities, carry out regular visits and provide support and liaison. Tourism businesses benefited in many ways. There was improved access to training for thousands of employees, in areas ranging from customer service to better use of IT and e-business. TSE members’ days featured key speakers on hot topics and provided great opportunities for industry networking and meeting centrally-based TSE staff.
