All businesses across the service sector generally and the tourism industry in particular should be aware of the diversity of their potential customer base and of the labour market.
Recognising this diversity and being able to understand the needs of all different groups is important to maximse business potential, best utilise the labour market and comply with equality laws.
The SEEDA funded body 'Diversity Means Business' has produced a handbook to help businesses increase business growth and security through diversity at little or no cost.
