Local Area Agreements

Local Area Agreements and the Comprehensive Area Assessment have become such a crucial part of the Performance Framework for Local Authorities. It is more important than ever for tourism indicators to be included in the Agreements and for the industry to demonstrate to Local Authorities the importance of supporting the tourism economy.

This toolkit will assist Local Authority Officers and Members by identifying how and why they should support the tourism sector by including tourism indicators to achieve high scores in the CAA.
