British Tourism Week 2008

The second annual British Tourism Week (BTW) takes place from 10 - 18 March 2008. His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales has confirmed that he will once again be the Patron for this series of inter-related events, which will raise national and international awareness of the size, value and importance of Britain's £85 billion visitor economy.

British Tourism Week is celebrated with an exhibition by Julian Rowe who presents his latest work with reference to Seaford's history as an important trading port and the probable origins of the medieval Crypt as a Merchants House. 'Cabinets of Curiosities' in the upper gallery will be complimented by a dramatic three dimensional installation in the Undercroft. The Merchants House Memory Book will be on display and visitors are invited to contribute their own memories of the Crypt and Seaford.
