 Stick with it!, Win in Recession and get to Gold, took place at Arundel Casle on Tuesday 3 March.  Over 90 TIC Managers, Destination Managers and tourism professionals from around the region, debated some of the key issues facing TICs today, at the region Tourist Information Conference, hosted by Tourism South East.

Delegates heard from leading authorities including VisitBritain, Tourism South East, Team Consultants and Tourism Engineers, on subjects including how TICs can capitalise on visitors buying habits during the current economic downturn, how the region is preparing itself for the 2012 Olympics and what role TICS might have in the run up, during and after the Games.  To view the agenda click here

TSE plans to develop a 2012 visitor information strategy for the South East and delegates attending the conference were able to provide input into its contents and focus.  Further details regarding TSEs work in this area will be available during the Spring, 2009.
